Why We Built This Site
The county has multiple court routes rather than one all-purpose warrant counter. Fifth District Court is in St. George and handles felony and class A matters; Washington County Justice Court and separate city Justice Courts hold lower-level dockets. Washington County Sheriff's Office records, bookings, and its curated Wanted page answer different questions from a court's warrant status. Utah's Statewide Warrants portal is a broad public starting point, while Xchange provides case history rather than a warrant-only search. We organize those local distinctions so a reader can identify the right public office and verify a result directly.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for outstanding warrant information and distinguish it from jail custody lists
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which local court holds the case
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in Washington County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to Utah courts, the sheriff's office, or a state agency. The site does not hold court files or administer a warrant system, so it cannot perform official case work:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
